JN NAILS CURING GUIDE

All JN NAILS gel products should be cured for 30 to 90 seconds under the JN NAILS Pro Cure LED Lamp.

The smart lamp has been designed to help reduce heat spikes. To ensure a full cure, products must be cured for the recommended time.

If gel polish feels wet or uncured, it has been applied too thick. We recommend applying in thin layers.

If the sides of the thumbs feel uncured, please ask your client to place their hand fully inside the lamp and keep it there for the full cure time.

APPLYING THE GEL POLISH

  1. Apply a thin coat of All in one Base Coat. Seal the free edge and cure for 30 seconds.
  2. Apply the first thin layer of gel polish, seal the free edge and cure for 30 seconds.
  3. Apply the second thin layer of gel polish, seal the free edge and cure for 30 seconds.
  4. Apply a coat of Steel Topcoat, seal the free edge and cure for 60 seconds. All JN NAILS top coats are no wipe.
  5. Finish with a sparring drop of cuticle oil.

APPLYING THE BUILDER GEL

  1. Apply a thin base layer of All in one Base Coat, seal the free edge and cure for 30 seconds.
  2. Apply a layer of Builder Gel, build the structure of the nail, seal the free edge and cure for 90 seconds.
  3. Cleanse and refine as desired.
  4. Apply a coat of Steel Topcoat, seal the free edge and cure for 60 seconds. JN NAILS top coat is no wipe.
  5. Finish with a sparring drop of cuticle oil.

APPLYING THE PRO BASE

  1. Prepare the natural nail by performing your usual prep (clean, push back cuticles, gently refine the surface and remove dust).
  2. Apply a thin slip layer of Pro Base and gently work it into the nail plate. Do not cure yet.
  3. Apply a second slightly thicker layer of Pro Base to create a smooth, even surface and light structure. Seal the free edge and cure for 60 seconds.
  4. For extra strength on longer nails, you can add a second structured layer of Pro Base and cure for a further 60 seconds.
  5. Finish with your chosen colour gel polish and Steel Topcoat, following the curing times above.

APPLYING THE HARD GEL

  1. Prepare the natural nail and apply a thin layer of All in one Base Coat or Pro Base, seal the free edge and cure for 30 seconds.
  2. Pick up a small bead of Hard Gel and place it onto the nail. Gently float the product, building the structure and apex of the nail. Seal the free edge and cure for 90 seconds under the JN NAILS Pro Cure LED Lamp.
  3. Cleanse the nail to remove the inhibition layer and refine the shape as desired.
  4. Apply a coat of Steel Topcoat, seal the free edge and cure for 60 seconds. JN NAILS top coat is no wipe.
  5. Finish with a sparing drop of cuticle oil.
